About Us

Hope Welfare Trust (or Hope) is an initiative by youngsters with a will to bring about positive change in the society, especially rural India. It started as a nascent movement from Varanasi in September 2015 when a group of students from various universities and colleges joined hands for rural development.

The idea of Hope is to bring about sustainable development in Indian villages and involve women to play a key role. Thus, Hope works strategically towards rural development and women empowerment. Our hope trust got officially registered and received mandatory documentation of 12 A and 80G

Gender inclusion keeping the women power as core of the working model is our theory of change. We formed green army of rural Indian women who proudly fight against domestic violence, alcoholism, gambling and harassment in various parts of India to achieve our mission.
